Good Friday and Easter

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Good Friday is regarded as a commemoration of the crucification and death of the son of God Jesus Christ on a cross for alleged blasphemy of clearing to be the son of God, a blasphemy against his father who actually sent him to bring his word to mankind and teach them the way to get back to his kingdom. To the Germans, it should be called Dark Friday; and for good reasons two. And the resurrection of Christ was also being commemorated on Easter Sunday, the day He rose from the dead, and ten ascended to heaven after forty days.

Since that event in Jerusalem, faithfully of Christ in religions rituals for about two thousand years - except for the new generation churches that are rather hollow in their spiritual understanding but see spiritual things as a means towards material end. But no one has reflected on the principal issues.

Jesus was killed and crucified as a troublesome truth bringer. His death never took away but added to our sins. And his resurrection was not physical- his physical body never ascended to heaven. It was his ethical body that was seen by the men going to timanus (Lk 24:13 - 27) which was why they did not recognize him who has been with them for three years. Also Mary Magdalene could not recognize him (In 20"11-18) it was not the physical body that Thomas used to touch his wound ( ).

Easter was the time that Christ, dead by incarnating into the world of matter dead to those in Divine realm - resurrection from the world of matter and headed back to his father. In the same way, anyone that leave the earth back to paradise has resurrected from the world of matter. Hence, resurrection is actually a spiritual activity, since the body is neither alive nor dead, but becomes animated by the spirit inhabiting it. And for most people, the spirit inside their body only animates the body by virtue of their presence in the body but are on themselves asleep, and may not wake up until the destruction of the ego it has acquired during the wanderings in the world of matter.

But the resurrection at the final, or last Judgment is a different thing altogether, it is the resurrection of all that is dead in the world of matter- not the resurrection of all the dead. Mark well the difference it does not mean that my dead grandfather will rise up from the grave - my grandfather who has already disintegrated in the soil to form manure for the tree that has grown on it which was fed on by the goat we slaughtered and at for crusade. How will he then gather back his body, to resurrect?

Resurrection means the animating of evil thing slumbering within us that we though does not exist anymore- be it from past life or otherwise - all propensities will become active until it exposes itself to the world and thereby judges itself, to be destroyed in the Judgment. If any one still clings to such propensities, it may well happen that he is destroyed with it. But let us discus Easter.

Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Christ. It also reminds us of our own later resurrection from the world of matter to go back home to paradise. These shall also be Easter for the earth itself during the purification period, popularly known as the time of tribulation. With the appearance of the comer, the earth enters it's own passion week. The rays of the comer grips the earth and shakes it in a universal earthquake that convulses the earth as if it is about to perish but the fever is meant to restore in new life. With that, it pulls the earth to the orbit it is meant to be, from which it was displaced what, at the fall of man, when man replaced spiritual recognition with intellectual calculation, when we forget our first love (Rev.2:4) the joint volition of mankind formed a dark pall over the earth and depressed it's orbit. Everything that was dead will be animated, the good to become better, the bad to be eliminated. This is what the mystery call a shift in consciousness, dimensional shift and all the gobbledygook they invent to render elitist simple concepts.

Easter Flowers - A Celebration of Rebirth and Spring

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Certain types of flowers are used to celebrate Easter, the holiest of days on the Christian calendar; they are commonly referred to as Easter flowers. These flowers are colorful, and they are symbolic of rebirth and the Resurrection. They are perfect reminders of Easter and the upcoming spring season. Common flowers used for Easter include lilies, hyacinths, azaleas, tulips, daffodils, and narcissus flowers.

White lilies tend to be the most popular and traditional Easter flowers, and they are commonly used to decorate churches around the Easter season. These flowers originated in Japan, and Americans started to grow them in the 1940's. White lilies are known to symbolize the renewal and purity that is associated with Easter, as well as Christ's Resurrection three days after his death. The lily's flower petals are said to be shaped in such a way as to represent God's trumpet calling for Jesus to return. It is of note that white lilies' growth is forced in greenhouses for the Easter season given how extremely common it is for these flowers to be used around that time.

Hyacinths are flowers that are typically used for Easter bouquets and arrangements. They exist in a variety of pastel colors that are perfect for Easter, including pink, purple, and blue. They also come in white. These flowers grow to be eight to twelve inches tall on average.

Azaleas are popularly given as hostess gifts at Easter dinners. They bloom naturally right around the Easter season, and they come in many beautiful colors including pink, white, orange, and red. Azaleas are seen as symbols of Christ's rising again, as well as of rejuvenation and good wishes.

Tulips are other common Easter flowers. These beautiful flowers are symbolic of spring's rebirth and of perfect love. Tulips are popular parts of Easter floral arrangements and come in more than 150 species. They also come in a wide array of colors.

Daffodils are bright yellow Easter flowers that are shaped like trumpets. They are symbolic of rebirth, eternal life, and friendships. Where daffodils are concerned, it is thought that new flowers are born from bulbs that appear to be dead, thus making the flowers living examples of rebirth. Furthermore, a legend suggests that daffodils first bloomed during Christ's Resurrection. Daffodils are the main Easter flowers used for Easter decorations in England.

The narcissus was the initial flower connected to Easter in many parts of Europe. People in the Alps in fact have thought of the flower as being a representation of Easter for generations. Furthermore, the narcissus is a very popular flower in Germany.

All of the Easter flowers discussed can be found at florists, online flower shops, and nurseries. Many beautiful arrangements are available, and a number of deals are to be found. People who love to garden will also find a wealth of information about planting all of these beautiful flowers over the Internet.

Money Making Ideas - Make Easy Money by Creating Graphics

Image : http://www.flickr.com

It's true that most of the easy money making ideas evolve around writing. But don't despair if that's not your strong suite.

Where there is written material, there is often a need for graphics, too. Pictures capture the eyes of the visitor, and drag them into reading the article. So, if you can create graphics, you have an easy way in which to make money online.

What Types of Graphics are in Demand?

People need ordinary pictures and photographs to either illustrate blog posts or books, plus designs around with which they can create their own graphics.

If you're a good photographer, you can sell your photographs online through different services such as iStockphoto and Fotolia - and many others.

But there are other artistic ways by which you can make money.

Are you good at using programs like PhotoShop, Illustrator or Paint Shop Pro?

Great, because a growing number of people need all kind of graphics such as banners, header graphics, 'buy now' buttons, icons, logos etc.

Thematic graphics are also interesting. Create images for Christmas, Easter, summer, winter, and so on.

Or take advantage of people's interest in social sites such as Facebook and MySpace, and create graphics to say 'Welcome'; 'Thank you for the ad', or any of the other things that people say to each other on a frequent basis.

What If You Cannot Afford PhotoShop or Illustrator?

If you're on a shoestring budget, you can still make money by creating graphics. You just need a cheaper program than PhotoShop or Illustrator.

Some programs are even totally free, such as Gimp, which you can use both on a Windows PC, Linux, or a Mac.

Just do a search for 'Gimp' online, and you'll find the different versions as well as great tutorials that will help you get started with this program.

If you prefer a program that works with vector graphics, you can acquire Inkscape for free. You can do quite impressive pieces of graphic art with this program and, again, there are versions for Windows, Linux and Mac.

You will not be left on your own should you decide to go with this program; several brilliant tutorials will get you going in a snap.

Where Do You Sell Your Graphics?

You can offer your services on relevant forums; on your home page and through services who also sell photographs.

Another idea is to be creative and ask somebody with a big mailing list if you can do a Joint Venture. In this way, you can both make money, and many list owners will be only too happy to accept such an offer.

Almost Famous - How a "Celebrity" Can Help Your Charitable Cause

Seems like these days every celebrity is promoting a charitable cause. Celebrities are even partnering together on projects like the ONE Campaign and American Idol Gives Back.

While celebrities promoting charities might look like a new trend, it's really something that many groups have done for years. From large to small groups, many causes can benefit from having a well known person as a champion for the cause.

Now when you hear the word "celebrity" you might think of movie stars or singers... but entertainers are just one kind of celebrity endorser. A local non profit can partner with local business leaders, minor league sports players or anyone of interest or influence in your town.

Kids like to meet costumed characters...the Easter bunny, Power Rangers, and even McGruff the Crime Dog are celebrities to them! So many schools, sports teams and youth groups can easily find a celebrity by a trip to the costume store.

Here are several ways to partner with "celebrities" to boost your cause:

1. Honorees - Choose a person to honor at a banquet or dinner. Friends of the honoree will want to attend the event to support them. Those who don't know the honoree may want to come to get a chance to meet someone they ordinarily would not.

2. Spokesperson - A spokesperson serves as the public face for an organization and/or cause. They often will endorse fundraising letters, television commercials or PSA's and attend events to support the cause.

3. Special Events - Ever notice how many celebrities ride the floats at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade? Sometimes just having celebrities in attendance at a special event will boost the profile of the event.

4. Celebrity Auction Items - Having items donated by celebrities or related to celebrities can boost interest and bids in silent, live or online auctions.

5. Meet & Greet - Give people at your event a structured way to meet celebrities such as an autograph line and/or photo opportunity. Major or minor league athletes, politicians, musicians and business leaders are good choices. Or for kids events, remember our friends, the costumed characters!

So as you can see there's several ways that your group can use the power of celebrity involvement to gain publicity and funds. Talk to your immediate circle of supporters to find out who in your community supports your cause and would be willing to help out in some way. You might be surprised at the "almost famous" celebrities who jump in to help your cause!

Weight Loss Diet Plans - The Best Popular Fat Burner Programs Before You

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Regardless of what you might have seen on TV, you cannot lounge your belly fat into oblivion, squeeze your way to thinner thighs, or massage yourself any more than you can wish your way to wonderland. In the vast and mysterious realm of physique sculpting, there is no such thing as fairy dust spot reduction is a fallacy, a farce, a big FAT lie.

Fat accumulates on your body in a pattern determined by a combination of hormonal factor, genetics, gender, and age. You will ordinarily lose fat in the reverse order that you put it on. No matter how many sit-ups, crunches, slides, squeezes, slashes and rolls you do, you cannot target a problem area for the fat loss. Stimulating the muscle beneath the excess of unwanted fat on body is dangerous; it will simply tone the underlying muscle. Of course toning the muscles causes the muscles to grow, which ultimately stimulates fat burning?

But doesn't "tone" mean that you're adding muscle? And if your main objective is to reduce your size, is not adding more muscle counterproductive to your physique goals? The muscles you add will increase your metabolic rate, which in turn will devour the fat from every part of your body. Pulse, muscle is three times as dense as fat. In other words, one pound of fat occupies three times as much volume as one pound of muscle. What does this mean in the context of building your dream physique?

Think of this way: if you were to exchange every pound of unwanted fat surrounding your hips, thighs and buttocks for a pound of muscle, even though you wouldn't lose any weight per se, your hips, thighs, and buttocks would lose about half their volume.

Moreover every extra ounce of muscle you carry stokes your metabolic rate, which in turn, burns your fat. Current estimate indicate that every pound of muscle an individual possess devours between 35 to 75 calories per day simply to exist and that doesn't even include the calories your muscles burn during physical activity.

Six Uses For Shredded Paper

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Paper shredders are a great way to ensure that no one will able to steal your private information. But what do you do with the paper once it's been run through the machine? This article will list what you can do, ranging from the practical (recycling) to the whimsical (Easter basket filling). Keep reading to discover what you can do with your shredded paper.

1.) Recycle! Obviously, the first thing you can do with your shreds is recycle them. This not only gets the waste out of your house, it ensures that you're doing your part to save the environment. Just be sure to check with your local recycling facility to see if your paper bits can be mixed with other items, such as shredded CD's, credit cards, and floppy disks.

2.) Packing material. This is a great way to re-use your shredded documents, especially if you've been cleaning out your office before a big move. After all, commercial moving supplies are expensive, especially when you consider that they'll probably just be tossed after you're settled in. If you use your shreds, you won't pay anything for packing material, your old documents will be no more, and your fragile items should arrive at their destination without breaking. It's a win-win situation all around.

3.) Pet bedding and kitty litter. If you have pets, they can certainly reap the benefits of your having a shredder. Shreds can be used to line pet cages, especially those belonging to birds, mice, gerbils, hamsters, and other small critters. Rodents love to burrow and they'll love having fresh material in which to do so. You can even use your shreds to line your cat's litter box. (Just be aware that your kitty might not take to the new litter right away. Cats tend to be picky when it comes to their litter boxes especially if the type of litter is suddenly changed.) A word of advice: you should make sure the paper you use is free of shredder oil and toxic ink, especially since rodents love to chew on their bedding. (And cats have been known to lick weird things.) The goal here is to make your furry friends happy, not make them sick.

4.) Gift bags. When it comes time to give that perfect gift, it's always nice to present it in the best way possible. If you're using a gift bag, you can fill up the empty space with bits from your shredder. This would look especially nice if the paper was colorful. You can even use the shreds to pad the box your gift is in. This will not only make your gift look great, it will help you save money since you won't be blowing cash on overpriced products from the greeting card store.

5.) Easter basket filling. If you have kids and they still believe in the Easter bunny, why not run some colorful paper through your shredder and use it to line Easter baskets? It's a great way to both please the little ones and recycle stuff that would other wise go in the garbage.

6.) Confetti. Confetti is another one of those items that comes in very handy at certain times (i.e. weddings), but it's probably also something you don't want to spend a fortune on. If you have a cross-/confetti-cut shredder, it's incredibly easy to make your own confetti. You can even make sure it's the right color and not have to rely on what's available at the store.

These are just a few of the things you can do with shredded paper. If you use your imagination, you're bound to come up with some more ideas. Good luck and happy shredding!
